My work as a family law attorney and as a school board member has helped individuals build a better future for themselves and their families. I have helped to bring positive change to people's lives and I will do the same thing as our state representative.
Fighting for seniors, vulnerable adults, and children.


As an attorney, fought for the rights of senior citizens whose independence and property were being controlled by guardians and conservators.


In child protective proceedings, advocated for the rights of abused children and for the reunification of families who were wrongfully charged.


Ensured that proper mental health treatment was afforded to patients who were involuntarily commited to mental health hospitals against their will.
Walled Lake School Board Accomplishments
Served 9 years overall, and as President of the Board until resigning to focus on campaign for state representative. During that time, here are some of our districts serious (and fun) accomplisments.
1. Walled Lake Schools district-wide MEAP scores are at an all-time high, surpassing almost all neighboring districts.
2. Walled Lake Schools (WLS) received the NCA district/system accreditation, the largest district in the state to earn this prestigious status.
3. WLS board of Education adopted the Michigan Merit Exam (MME) as a graduation requirement.
4. WLS won 2 Education Excellence awards for the Teacher Leader program and the Mathematics Interventions programs. There were over 200 applicants, 24 awards and walled lake was the only district receiving two.
5. Annually, more than $2 million dollars in college scholarships are awarded to WLS graduates.
6. Walled Lake's PTSA Council was named Michigan PTSA Council of the Year.
7. The WLS's Physical Education Department reached Level 8, the highest level a district can achieve from the governor's council on physical fitness.
8. The WLS Business Department received both the Meritorious Budget Award for our 2006 - 2007 budget as well as the ASBO National Award in Financial Accounting for our 2005 - 2006 audit.
9. WLS foundation for Excellence raised $110,000 for district initiatives.
10. Central and Western High School's marching students broke the world's record for the longest drum roll.

Born and raised in Oak Park, resident of West Bloomfield for 32 years.
Attended and graduated Andover High School.
